Anxiety
Our approach recognizes that for many anxious people, their brain is stuck in a state of hypervigilance and constant worry. We need to change that for there to be lasting improvement.
- We combine cognitive-behavioral therapy and neurofeedback for a more comprehensive and powerful treatment.
- Improvements are seen within a few sessions and research shows they maintain when treatment ends.
- By incorporating neurofeedback into the therapy, this approach works well for children, teens and adults including those who are traditionally "treatment resistant".
- For children and teens, we involve parents so that they can be effective "coaches" to help their child overcome their fears.
